Curtis M. Scott (died August 19, 1992, age 32) was a game designer known for his work on role-playing games. ==Career== Curtis M. Scott wrote ''The Complete Spacefarer's Handbook'' and FR12 ''Horde Campaign'' for ''Dungeons & Dragons'', the ''GURPS Conan'' and ''GURPS Humanx'' sourcebooks for ''GURPS'', and co-wrote ''Cyber Hero'' for Hero Games. Scott also worked on ''The Cyclopedia Talislanta'' series for ''Talislanta''. Scott had also taken on a major project for TSR's Dark Sun campaign world.〔 For several years, Scott and his wife, Mary, organized the annual CoastCon gaming and science-fiction convention in Biloxi, Mississippi.〔 Scott had been accepted to a computer-science program at Carnegie Mellon University.〔 On his way to the 1992 Gen Con/Origins game fair, Scott died in a car accident.〔 He was killed on August 19, 1992, at the age of 32. He was survived by his wife Mary and their son.〔
